After losing at home 37-23 to ULM to fall to 2-8 on the season, Georgia State has appeared to make a change.
Miles’s tenure came with a 9-38 overall record, but you have to handicap that a bit. Georgia State was BY FAR the worst job in FBS when he took over. 60,000 empty red seats every home game, no FBS depth, no weight room (that since has changed), no real fan base and so on.
In 2015, Georgia State came back from 2-6 to win their final four games, including the most lopsided win by a visitor in Georgia Southern history, 34-7 over the Eagles, to qualify for the Cure Bowl. Miles earned Sun Belt Coach of the Year honors in 2015.

No announcement by the school has been made yet, so no interim coach has been named. Next Saturday is the big rivalry game in the Georgia Dome finale against Georgia Southern before a trip to Idaho to end the season.
