It was another wildly successful set of days for the most Forgotten of them all. The FCS and below players tend to get the short end of the stick until you start to look at NFL rosters.
The NFL is loaded with underdogs from tiny programs like Tiffin, Kutztown, Grand Valley State, etc. Some turn into stars, but many are the glue that keeps NFL teams together.
This year saw Ashland tight end Adam Shaheen hear his named called first with the #45 pick of the Chicago Bears. Eastern Washington receiver Cooper Kupp (#69) went to the Rams, Youngstown State defensive end Derek Rivers (#83) was the first pick of the Patriots, Grambling receiver Chad Williams (#98) went to the Cardinals, and Lamar cornerback Brendan Langley (#101) went to the Broncos.
