*Disclaimer: I apologize for the lack of detail, I had a Q/A preview lined up with a Hawaii beat writer but it fell through at the last minute*
Hawaii Rainbow Warriors(3-0) vs. Army Black Knights(1-1)
- Game Time: 12:00 PM EST
- Location: Michie Stadium, West Point, NY
- TV: CBSSN
- Line: Army -7
- FPI: Army 84.3%
- O/U: 62.5
This is going to be a shootout, Hawaii has the 122nd rush defense in the country and Army’s pass defense isn’t proven just yet. If Army wants to slow down star Hawaii QB Cole McDonald, DB’s Elijah Riley and Jaylon McClinton have to have huge games.
Offensively, Army needs to hold on to the ball as long as possible to keep Hawaii’s offense off the field. Time of possession and lack of turnovers will be the key to an Army victory.
I think the Army offense will hold on the ball just long enough to steal a win from Hawaii, yes I said steal, I don’t think Army should be favored by a touchdown, that Rainbow Warrior offense is extremely explosive. But maybe Vegas is accounting for the 6 am local time kickoff.
Army 42-Hawaii 35
