Well, we’ve now got numerous teams all over the polls, so maybe it’s time to take a weekly look at how we feel about all this, eh?

Troy | — | 36 |

Fresno State | — | 44 |
I guess I can’t be too upset by all of this. UCF achieved exactly what I thought they would; they got passed by a Texas team that beat a top-10 opponent on the road, but still moved into the top 10 in both polls.
The Knights should be a lock for a top-15 spot in the first CFP at this point. Of the nine teams ahead of them in the polls, two (WVU and UT) play each other the week before the first ranking comes out, and two more (Georgia and Washington) play multiple opponents before then that are currently ranked.
Otherwise, I can’t be too disappointed with these rankings as a whole. The other two remaining undefeated AAC teams (USF and Cinci) sneak into the rankings, while Boise dropped like a rock.
I’m maybe bothered that Troy didn’t get any votes in the AP Poll, but I think everything else is about what I would expect.
The polls came out and I’m not upset, what do I do with myself, y’all?
