Army plays San Jose State this week, but what about Army future opponents? What are they up to?
Let’s get started
Miami (OH)
The RedHawks are playing at home against the Kent State Flashes. Miami had a huge win on the road against Akron last week, expect them to ride the momentum against a subpar Kent State team. Miami (OH) rolls.
Miami (OH) 35-Kent State 10
Eastern Michigan
This is my game to watch this week. The Eagles are at home against Toledo. Toledo is a good team with a powerful offense; the Rockets average 46.4 points and just under 450 yards per game.
EMU has their work cut out for them, they are on a four-game losing streak, in desperate need of a win. They have struggled in close games all season and I think they will finally get a win in a close game. Their defense will come up clutch late in the game.
Eastern Michigan 35-Toledo 28
Air Force
Coming off a huge win over Navy, the Falcons are flying high (haha get it, I’m hilarious), but the team they have to play on Friday night is coming off a bigger win.
That would be San Diego State. They upset Boise State in Boise. The Aztecs are sitting at 4-1 with wins over not only Boise State but also a ranked Arizona State team.
The Air Force offense looked good last week once they woke up but I don’t see them having success against SDSU.
Led by RB Juwan Washington, I expect the Aztecs to dominate the Falcons big time.
SDSU 38-Air Force 14
Lafayette
Coming off a bye week, the Leopards are looking for their second win against the Georgetown Hoyas.
The Hoyas are 2-4 and not that good, neither is Lafayette though.
Georgetown gets their third win.
Georgetown 21-Lafayette 10
Colgate
The Raiders are #20 in the FCS and on a 10 game win streak. They extend it to 11 against a .500 Cornell team.
I’ll say it again, this is Army’s trap game.
Colgate 24-Cornell 14
Navy
The Mids have Temple this week and this one could end in a blowout.
Temple will blow Navy out of the water (laugh at my jokes plz) if Malcolm Perry is under center. He is better suited to be a slotback (his actual position), the offense can’t run the triple option with him at QB. If Garrett Lewis or Zach Abey are starting at QB, expect a close game, but either way, I have this Temple team winning.
Temple is much improved after an opening loss to Villanova, the Owls will be over .500 for the first time this season.
Temple 42-Navy 14
Opponents record: 3-3
