Former Notre Dame Quarterback Brandon Wimbush is Transferring to UCF

It’s official, the former Notre Dame starter has announced that he will be making Orlando home next season.
It was reported last week that Wimbush was going to visit UCF and then go visit other schools. After coming to UCF however, he canceled all other visits and made the decision.
Last year Wimbush started the first three games of the season before Ian Book took over the starting job. He also started the Florida State game. Last year he threw for 719 yards and four passing touchdowns, he had one more rushing touchdown with 256 yards on the ground.
In his career, he has thrown for just over 2,600 yards, 20 passing touchdowns, 1,155 rushing yards, and 16 rushing touchdowns.
There is little doubt if he’s good or not, but will he start over Darriel Mack? The competition¬†in the spring will be fun to watch.
