The UCF men have their biggest game of the season on Thursday night in CFE Arena. They are going against the #12 Houston Cougars for a chance to pull off a top 15 upset.
#KnightNation – I have an important mission for you. Your team is 16-4 and building one heck of a resume to earn the first at-large NCAA Tournament bid in school history. Next Thursday we play #13 ranked Houston. Need y’all to show out on national TV like you did all FB season! https://t.co/kFdR8a08sD

The Knights are sitting in second place in the AAC behind Houston and Cincinnati. They are 16-4 overall and 6-2 in conference play.
UCF is led by BJ Taylor and Aubrey Dawkins. Taylor averages 16.9 points per game and Dawkins averages 15.1 per game.
The biggest weakness of this team is their free throw shooting, they shoot 63% from the line which is 338th in the country (there’s are only 351 teams).

Houston 21-1 and on a six-game win streak. Their lone loss came to Temple on the road. The Cougars are led in scoring by senior Corey Davis Jr. who scores 15 ppg.
Davis is paired up with Galen Robinson Jr. in the back court, he leads the team in assists (5.3) and steals (1.3). They also have Armoni Brooks, another guard, who averages 14.3 ppg and 6.1 rebounds a game (leds team).
Thursday’s matchup is an interesting one, ESPN’s BPI gives Houston a 50.2% chance to win. UCF fans know that the Knights have steller athletic programs across the borad, but this is a chance for the country to see it; this is where UCF proves they aren’t a football school.
If there’s any evidence of the difference you make in a game, let’s go back to this moment! @UCF_MBB is 16-4 & needs this energy to go 1-0 on Thursday night vs. one of the top teams in the country!! #GoKnights #ChargeOn pic.twitter.com/5buuNRsdjZ

If you’re in the Orlando area, make it a point to be there on Thursday night to root on the Knights, they want it to be a sellout crowd. Make it feel like March Madness in CFE Arena.
