UCF is Dancing for the First Time Since 2005

UCF just earned their first at large bid to the NCAA Tournament ever. They are the #9 seed in the East region and will take on #8 seed VCU.
The seeding in the East is as follows:

  1. Duke
  2. Michigan State
  3. LSU
  4. Virginia Tech
  5. Mississippi State
  6. Maryland
  7. Louisville
  8. VCU
  9. UCF
  10. Minnesota
  11. Belmont/Temple
  12. Liberty
  13. St. Louis
  14. Yale
  15. Bradley
  16. NC Central/NDSU

Duke is definitely the favorite to make it out of the region and will face UCF in the Round of 32 if both teams win their first matchups.
UCF will take on VCU Friday in Columbia, South Carolina. UCF is in for the first time since 2005 sitting at 23-8. The VCU Rams are 25-7 coming out of the A-10 conference.
It should be a fun one, Knights fans. Be happy, your team is dancing once again.
