There will be another former Army player playing in a professional football league.
Over the last two days the XFL had their draft and former Army DB Josh Jenkins was taken.
In phase one of the open rounds where teams could draft any player from any position, the Los Angeles Wildcats took Jenkins.
In two years at Army, Jenkins had 98 tackles, 14 pass break ups, four interceptions, and two blocked punts. His biggest play in the black and gold came in 2014, when he blocked a Navy punt which was picked by Xavier Moss and returned for a touchdown to give Army a 7-0 lead.
After leaving Army, Jenkins has played for the Green Bay Blizzard in the Indoor Football League, the Arizona Hotshots in the AAF, and the Ottawa REDBLACKS in the CFL. While in the IFL, he racked up 79 tackles and one sack while playing at strong safety.
